History and Background:

  • The National Railroad Museum was founded in 1956, by Harold Fuller of Brillion and numerous local volunteers who helped advanced the concept of a national museum dedicated to the American rail road history.  What began as an effort to acquire a single steam locomotive for a city park has grown into one of the largest rail museums in the nation.  The National Railroad Museum has a large collection of historic locomotives, including an Aerotrain, Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4017 (The world’s largest steam locomotive type), and the British Railways A4 Class No. 60008 Dwight D Eisenhower (ex-London & North Eastern Railway No. 4496 Golden Shuttle) and train used by the Supreme Allied Commander and his staff in the United Kingdom and continental Europe during World War II.  (Information gathered from www.nationalrrmuseum.org on 4/3/12.)

Investigators Present:

  • Scott, Vicky, Doug, and Jim

The investigation:

  • The MPI Network conducted a paranormal investigation at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, WI on the evening of February 3, 2012.  The night was cold, had a clear sky, and presented no or very little wind.  The investigation began in the Mail Car located in the outdoor hanger.  Once the cold began to kill our batteries, we moved into the museum, where we investigated the Pullman Car, Eisenhower Command Car, a railroad snow plow engine, a caboose, and numerous other historic and iconic train cars.

Evidence Collected:

  • Please see the following video clips in order:

Conclusion and Followup:

  • Based on the evidence gathered throughout this is investigation, it is the opinion of the MPI Network that the National Railroad Museum is highly active with paranormal activity.  In all locations of the investigation, audio and visual communications were conducted that appeared at some times to be playful and happy and at other times just appreciative for the contact.

On Part 1 around 8:23 min. it says “Paula.” When my daughter, Paula, was a young girl she and her younger brother used to hang around and go into some of these cars while their father did volunteer work at the museum. I don’t remember the exact years but probably in the mid 1990s when she was in grade school. I thought this was odd, as did my daughter.

Do you use apps for your sessions . What are they called?

    • Hi Mike, the only app we use is called iOvilus. In most cases, you need to be very skeptical of any claims for apps and other types of equipment when searching for credible evidence. However, this one investigation in particular, we had very consistent responses that fit the scenario and seemed too relevant to overlook. Good luck in your research!
