Summer Update and Future Events
I must apologize for our dormant summer phase. It seems that the hustle and bustle of every day life has taken hold and among our small group of 4 members, we have experienced numerous wonderful events over just a few months… a wedding, an engagement, a new baby on the way, a new job, a home move, a new puppy, and the list could go on…
With all of this, we are excited to get back into our research and share with you a few of our upcoming events:
- In August, the group will travel to Mansfield, Ohio to conduct an overnight paranormal investigation at the Ohio State Reformatory. The reformatory was constructed over a period of 10 years, opened as a prison in 1896 and operated until 1990. You may have seen episodes of Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters, who have also investigated the historic stone prison. We will be joining some friends of ours as well, making our group size 15 investigators to cover over 250,000 square feet in just 12 hours. If we are able to cover even half of this area, I will feel accomplished.
- We are currently scheduling with a historic site, located in Northern Wisconsin for the month of September. The structure originally built in 1880, is currently undergoing renovation and restoration, but will soon be complete. The MPI Network is looking forward to this investigation, as it is one of the last remaining sites of its kind in its original location. This structure helped shape Wisconsin culture, having a large impact on the same communities that exist today. More details to come, once a date is established.
- In November, we will be meeting Chad Lewis at the Neenah Library. Chad Lewis is a paranormal researcher and author for Unexplained Research. Chad has traveled across the world in search of the paranormal. From tracking vampires in Transylvania and chasing the Chupacabras in Puerto Rico, to searching for the elusive monster in Loch Ness, and pursuing ghosts in Ireland’s castles, Chad brings over 13 years of research experience to his presentations. Chad has been featured in hundreds of radio interviews, TV appearances, and newspaper articles. Chad is also the co-author of the Road Guide to Haunted Locations book series. Please join us in this event! “Wisconsin’s Gangster Past” Presentation: Neenah Public Library 240 East Wisconsin Avenue Neenah, WI Monday, November 5th at 2:00 pm
Stay tuned for more exciting investigations and captivating evidence to be posted! Thanks again for your continued support and interest! -Vicky
